This town was created using Object Raku Technology's Sextant Tool. Sextant leverages Geospatial Data to rapidly create 3D scenes of real world locations.
The Terrain was created from GIS Elevation Data and the image on the terrain is Commercial Satellite imagery.
This whole scene took a mere 4 man days to build using Sextant, including the time needed to aquire and manipulate images for texturing.
