Object Raku’s Sextant software is the leading edge of applied 3D technology and clients include Canadian and US government agencies as well as operational units within the US Army, Marine Corps, and Navy.

In addition to off-the-shelf solutions, Object Raku is in the business of providing innovative custom software solutions to end users and systems integrators. High fidelity terrain database creation is the third component in Object Raku's business offering. These projects vary greatly in size and scope but the majority require a high level of geospatial precision and some degree of urban terrain detail. Object Raku's competitive advantage in these efforts lies in the award-winning Sextant software suite, a workhorse used in the majority of projects. Along with Sextant's speed of creation and broad range of usable data inputs, Object Raku is also able to leverage its development staff for on-the-fly software solutions to overcome any unforeseen obstacles in the project. Terrain database projects can output to a variety of geospatial & 3D formats. The latter include VRML, OpenFlight, and kml (Google Earth).
