FTI test partner opportunity
October 2010 - Object Raku is looking for beta test partners for its Feature Type Interpreter (FTI) software. FTI extracts geospatial features like buildings and vegetation from raw LiDAR data (.las files). The tool is designed to work with a high degree of accuracy and speed enhancements are on-going. The current release is a stand-alone application with the OEM release available later in Q4.Email us for more details.
Object Raku announces collaboration with Simon Fraser University
March 2010 - Object Raku Technology is pleased to announce the formation of a research and development partnership with Dr. Richard Zhang of the School of Computing Science at Simon Fraser University. Dr. Zhang's team will leverage their extensive knowledge in the field of geometric analysis and processing to assist Object Raku's on-going innovation in automatic feature extraction from Lidar data.GEOINT 2010
